Professor Platt is one of the best professors I've ever had. I actually enjoyed going to his class. He is very nice and inviting and makes the material interesting and relatable. He answers all questions and tries his best to help students in any way he can. Definitely recommend taking any class he offers.

Professor Platt is really nothing out of the ordinary. I have taken him twice (POS 1041 and POS 1112) and it is not that difficult to get an A. He pretty much as all the lectures in front of you and all you have to do is write a few paragraphs per essay question. Even better, you can write two essays on one page.
